Ahok to Demote PNS Who Consume Drugs

We'll continue to investigate the case. If those 13 employees prove to have drugs, we will demote them as a staff

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama revealed he will demote or dismiss Jakarta civil servants who consume drugs. The statement is conveyed to respond the examination results conducted by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), where there are 13 thousands of civil servants were indicated using drugs.

"We'll continue to investigate the case. If those 13 employees prove to have drugs, we will demote them as a staff," asserted Ahok, after he inaugurated an Arjuna Wijaya Statue on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, CentrJakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama revealed he will demote or dismiss Jakarta civil servants who consume drugs. Strict sanction taken by Ahok also received support from Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat. "Mr. Djarot and me had the same thought. Whoever they are, officials or civil servants will be demoted or event dismissed if they are proved to consume drugs," he stressed.

Ahok added, until now, his party is still investigating the case deeply. "Jakarta Health Department has coordinated with the BNN. If the BNN report is true, we will take strict sanction," he uttered.
